Dress Code: Its a double standard

Dress Code Dress code is a very sensative subject, because it all depends on opinion. For me i believe it should be a double standard in schools. Meaning that if the teachers want to put on a leash so tight we can't breathe they should taste the medcine they feed us. Now many teachers will use the I already had to sit through school card, as a cover up for the fact that they do not want to accept it should be a double standard. Its like telling your child not steal, but you constanly steal money out of your husband/wifes wallet in front of your child. So how do you expect your child not to steal when you make it a regular thing to do. I guess were back to that double standard rule again. There are those well rounded teachers that say teachers should not only behave professionally, but dress the part too. I 200 % agree with those teachers, because how do you expect me to take you seriously while your teaching if you have on, flip flops, a tattered t-shirt and some busted sweat pants? Ok, I didn't think so yet teachers claim their students don't give them respect, even though they don't dress like they want respect. As you can see like I said dress code is a very sensative subjet. It is all a matter of opinion and thet is my view on the situation. Remember double standard, the rules that apply for me apply to you to!
