By Far the Best Clothing Store I have Entered.

Located in the bottom floor of the Montclair Plaza, the commonly known Vans store sits in glory. Not only is it an awesome store but the quality of the things being sold is overwhelming. Originally known for it's shoes, Vans has been selling clothing apparel for about 70 years. The service in the shops are outstanding due to the helpful workers. But particularly the one in Montclair is my favorite because not only does the staff care about their customers but they actually tell you about the deals that only go on in that shop only. You might go to a different Vans store where all the people that work there only care about you walking out with an empty wallet. They still care for the customers but not as much as the people in the Montclair mall. I saw this Vans hat that I was interested in buying my dead said to wait another day to get it. Being the awesome people they are they got my dad to get me my hat because they saw me a bit upset! Not only that but they offered my sister a deal for 6 pairs of socks for half the original price!

About 3 months ago I saw these shoes (Vans) that caught my eye, but the price was a bit too high. We went shopping a couple days later and I mentioned the price to the people in the store. They basically took about 5 dollars off the original price and added in free shipping! The shoes are outstanding and last a pretty long time. They come in different shapes and patterns which I think is really cool. Being a skate brand, Vans sells from shoes to skateboards to hats and glasses. Anything you can wear, other than underwear, is sold in that store! I recommend it 100%. And I give it a 10 out of 10.

Roscoes Chicken And Waffles

Well where do I begin? This Resturant has THE BEST Chicken and Waffles ever.

Their waffles... OH LORDY! Perfection. They are a perfect combination of sweetness, fluffiness, and cinnamon. They are never burnt. They are amazing what can I say. It is a must try.

Their chicken is perfectly fried. It might be better than home made. It's very hard to compare something to homemade but this chicken, and these waffles SURPASS homemade. All this amazing goodness of food has to be taken in slowly and must be enjoyed with every bite. Chewed just till you have tasted every bite of sweetness.

There are 6 Roscoe's Chicken And Waffles. I have only been to the one in Pasadena. The service is great! The waitress' and waiters always have a great personalities that makes you feel at home. The actual restaurant could use a remodeling. But Almost everything else is amazing.

Another downside about this wonderful restaurant is the wait. The longest I have had to wait is 2 hours. That is a bit absurd. They should really find a way to make the wait shorter. Maybe get a bigger location or do something that wouldn't make the wait so long

But over all the restaurant is amazing. Food... great! Service...great! I would recommend the restaurant to anyone and everyone that enjoys great food and friendly service!

Goals for the year!

My goals are like any normal goal, to do better in school, or to get more athletic.

My first goal, and my biggest one, is to get into the habit of doing my work as soon as I get home, or as soon as I have time to work. Im a bit of a procastinater, and my grades are suffering because of it. I have a few A's and B's but the first thing you'll see is the giant D in the SMACK in the middle of the screen. And because of that little letter, I'm not allowed to go out, play video games, or do ANYTHING fun... So because of this, I Bruce Legacion, hereby, promise to stop PROCASTINATING.

My second goal, is to smoke anyone in my neighborhood, I used to have a problem with my heels because I had bad shoes, the shoes were too thin and I ran too much, and my heels got chipped bones. But I went to the foot doctor and he hooked me up with some inserts, 150 bucks a pop. But they were worth it because now I feel like I can run for days. So since my heels are nice and healthy, I want to be the fastest kid in town xD.

My third goal, is to Learn how to play the guitar, I have this sick blue acoustic guitar sitting in my closet just collecting dust, and I've always wanted to learn how to play it. but i had never been motivated, or smart/enthusiastic enough to learn, every friday im going to have afriend I know whos really good with guitars to give me free lessons on playing.

I didnt really list many steps on how I'm going to reach my goal, but I'm sure I'll manage and wing it the whole way. But for sure I will reach these goals.

Goals

Most people have goals such as losing weight, run a certain distance, and things like that. But how are they going to reach their goal? That is probably why most people don't make their goals. All they do is say what they want to do not how they are going to do it.

Well, I have two goals. One in school and one that is athletic.

My short term goal is to achieve an A in my Honors Geometry class. I will achieve this goal by:

1. Listening closely to what the teacher is teaching
2. Making sure that I understand what he is teaching
3. If I don't understand what he is teaching, to go after school and make sure I get it
4. To make sure I study every day (even if its only for 5 minutes)

By doing these four steps I can achieve my A in my class.

My long term goal is to be able to run 3 miles in 25 minutes or less. I can achieve my goal by doing the following steps.

1. Run everyday
2. Practice pacing myself
3. Practice breathing
4. Going in the gym everyday and working on my legs

By practicing doing all of these steps I can and will achieve my goals and be successful.

New Years Resolution!

This year's resolution isn't going to be those "I'm going to loose more weight" ones. It's going be a goal that will not only benefit me but others around me. Lately I've been noticing that I spend the school day with the same few people and stop meeting others. For every 3 times I hear my name I will try to make friends one person that I've never spoken with. I know it sounds awkward but I believe that it will make me a better person than what I already am. But before I do this I have to gain confidence in my ability to speak nice and friendly to others. Believe it or not but I am a very shy boy. Once I get comfortable talking to someone, which is usually when I get to know them a bit more, I speak about the most random nonsense. But when you first talk to me I'm shyer than that one kid you have at least in one of your classes that won't talk for all the money in the world.

Even though we're living in a world were depression and stress are affecting so many of us, it still seems that we can push through that to some extent to have at least one friend or that one person to turn to. Meeting new people has to be one of the most exciting and worthwhile things that you can do with your life. Therefore making new friends can benefit my way of having decent relationships with others. Back to the way I'm going to gain my confidence, I will swear on my enchiladas to at least say things such as "Bless you" or "How are you" to all the people I believe need it the most. Thus making depression decrease to those who I meet. Nice isn't it?

I want to accomplish all of this by the end of the year because not only is it something that will actually affect lives but it's something that will make me believe that I have become a better person. I just adopted a simple everyday resolution and made it my goal. I feel better for myself! Hopefully by the end of the goal I have not only helped my life become more rich in peace, but also others too.
