Hey guys! You'll never guess what happened to me.. I dropped my phone in the toilet. Yeah that's right. And I wasn't even gonna use the bathroom!! Fail huh? Well what's even worse is that I "accidentally" dropped it on the floor and the screen cracked, bad. But what's even worse is that it was STILL WORKING, PERFECTLY. My friend was like "WOW if you hadn't cracked the screen it would be good as new right now!" I felt stupid.
I came home and told my dad what happened and he says "DON'T WORRY! When it dries up, it'll work fine!". He was right. But I "accidentally" broke the screen BEFORE he enlightened me. -__- So now it has a lot of cracks and looks hideous.
Don't worry! There's an upside to this story. [: After I used my persuasive magic on my dad, he bought me the iPhone4s which is the newest one before the 5. I WAS SO HAPPY I CRIED, literally! If I knew I would've gotten an iPhone 2x better than the iPhone I had, I would've dropped it in water sooner.
Well yeah, crazy 2 days for me! K, bye-bye you guys! [:
(by the way, I haven't figured out how to do that link thing yet so, sorry!)

Christopher Francis Ocean "Frank Ocean"
Christopher Francis Ocean "Frank Ocean"
Christopher Francis Ocean or better known as Frank Ocean in my opinion is the best new artist out there. He is not only talented but is very open and honest with his fans. He also released his debut albumn "Channel Orange" that was a huge success. I may sound a little girly, but come on he's perfect!
Okay might as well start off with the fact that he is the best new artist in the pop/hip hop genre. He came out with a great first albumn. Not many artist can say there first albumn was a great beggining. His talent is proven because not many new artist are honored to perform at the VMA's. Which he was and if I may say myself he "killed it".
Another beautiful fact about him is the fact that he is very open and honest with his fans. Despite the negative comments Frank "came out" to the world and his friends in one of his songs on "Channel Orange". No matter what people are entiteled to their opinion and ofcourse people didn't think it was smart for his "image". Even though that was one of the biggest things that made me love him as a person even more.
How can you love him? Im sure that's what your thinking, because I clearly don't know him personally. Well I just do it's one of those things you can't explain, because you dont even know how it's possible yourself.
His albumn was famous for its hit song "Thinkin Bout You" which was also his "come out" song. Peple were and are still like obssesed with this song because most of them don't take the time to listen to all of the other songs, because there all good. Except "Forest Gump" in my brother's opinion its stupid but I think his just jelous. You can't...well your not suppose to judge a book by its cover but people still do. His albumn was a success money wise and helped him gain some fans. Simply because it is awesome.
Well you can see Christopher Francis Ocean is a talented, honest, and sucessfull new artist. Who has my heart.

Can I Have A Little Bit Of Privacy!?
First of all I only asked her what she was doing, maybe I could have helped her find what she was looking for. In the article Respecting And Giving Kids Their Privacy, I 100% agree that when we reach the adolescence age we begin to depart from our parents. But that does not mean that parents have to be "all up in my grill" about what I am doing.
Me being a teenager it really irks me when my mom opens the door to my room comes in, leaves and leaves the door open and then I have to get up and close the door.
Also when parents come in and I’m on the phone talking to a friend and they get nosey and start asking questions such as, “Who are you talking to?” “Is it a boy?” “What are you talking about?”. That is ridiculous! You should have enough respect and trust in me not to ask all these questions. You are not the police!
I feel as though parents need to take a step back and look on how much space they give their children and teens.

After reading this article I adopted some cool ideas on what to blog about. But what caught my eye was making a list, therefore I made this list of the top three trending YouTube videos of all summer through today.
#3. ''The worst referee call in football history '' is a recap on Monday's football game between the Green bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks. It was the the last quarter of the game and the Seahawks were one touchdown away from a victory. The ball is clearly intercepted by a Packer defender but still. the replacement referees call it a touch down! Check out the video for yourself!
#2. Have you heard of the train toy that went to space? After hitting over one million views this video spread around the world faster than you can say milky way. The video basically shows a dad launching a helium balloon with his son's train toy attached to it. It goes as 18 miles high! This video is really awesome and I think the idea was original and i give the dad big props.
#1. You've probably heard of it. It's hit over two hundred million views! This trending Korean-pop video was uploaded around July. But surprisingly it still gets a ton of more views every day. ''Gangnam Style'' by Korean pop star, PSY , has been so wide spread he performed in ''The Ellen Show'' and other shows. He also came out in the M.T.V Music Awards! Therefore it definitely is the most trending video of summer 2012.

Blogs!
So I read someone's blog post about how to set up a blog. It was a pretty good post it was about current events. So I am going to write about current events in the world. So there are approximately three current events in the world that are happening.
The first current event is L.A. County Fair. It is a fun place to be with family and friends. But it's kind of expensive. It has lots of carnival games and rides. Both of them in my opinion are very fun. They have very big shopping centers. They also have good show to watch and enjoy. That's one great current event.
A second current event is the economy. The economy is very bad right now. The United States is trillions of dollars in debt. I think we are going to go in to World War III. It's very terrifying! We owe so many people money it's not funny.
That is all I have to say. I said three current events but I only thought of two so sorry. I got this idea from this awesome blog. http://weblogs.about.com/od/startingablog/tp/BlogPostIdeas.htm. It won't let me shorten the blog so I'm getting mad. So this is my blog post so bye!

Should teachers have dress codes? Yes, and no.
At first I was against the dress code, but after the articles I had read, well I've changed my mind. I'm cool with a teacher wearing Levis and a polo shirt, but I couldn't imagine a male teacher with piercings, it is just absurd that some teachers have that.
I understand a female teacher with earrings, but that would be all that I would be okay with, everything else would just, freak me out. I've seen a sub at our school with a tongue piercing, and to tell the truth, I had less respect for him because of it.
Another thing I see sometimes is that a teacher wears something funky and students make fun of it or giggle about it, something like that, and it disrupts the class, I think there should be some rule about that. Sometimes I see teachers wearing something to revealing or inappropriate, I think should be added to dress code. I haven't yet seen a teacher trying to copy the style of teenagers, I hope I never do, because that would be very unprofessional of them.

On the other hand I wouldn't mind seeing a teacher wearing t-shirts with designs(as long as they are appropriate) and jeans with some tennis shoes. Teachers have to stand around for six hours a day they might as well be comfortable says Bill McConnell.
Also why should teachers spend their hard earned money on $400-$600 clothes, when they could be feeding themselves/kids/wife. Not to mention how easy it would be to stain their clothes throughout the day. Why waste your money on expensive clothing that you might ruin in class when you can just get a t-shirt and some cargo pants.
I guess I'm on both sides, yes there should be a dress code, but not in the extremes, it would be fine just to have a basic dress code that prevented teachers from wearing inappropriate clothes, or piercings , etc.
Though it is nice to see teachers in more formal clothing like dress pants a polo shirt and a tie like Mr.Vega, its more professional and I respect him more because of how formal he looks.

T-Shirts or Ties?
Should teachers have a dress code or not? On my perspective, teachers
know how to dress formally on different occasions. For instance, if its
a hot summer day, a teacher should have the right to wear a short
sleeve shirt with some shorts. Of course it would be the proper way to
dress on a day like that, but what I'm trying to state is that teachers
don't need dress code due to the fact that that they have the right to dress formally on different occasions.
After reading an article on two teacher's different perspectives on this topic, I only agree with the English teacher from the Ontario High School , Bill McConnell , who believes that teachers are old and professional enough to know what to wear on different days. He also states that he dresses in cloths that are particular for his job, and that he doesn't need to wear 100$ slacks to teach.
Of course if a teacher arrives in school wearing flip flops and sweatpants it would be a bit too casual but, if you wear something a bit more formal like shorts and a button up , it would be acceptable and non-distracting. Therefore, teachers shouldn't have a limit on how to wear cloths.

Dress Code For Teachers
Ever seen a teacher wearing a very low top? Or very short shorts? Thats absurd! As a teacher you should dress as the professional you are. You do not have to be hip and be like the teenagers. You are here to teach, not to impress anyone.
Most teachers have enough common sense to know that they should not wear overly tight clothing or for men tank tops, but there are teachers that obviously have no common sense when it comes to dressing professionally. I have seen with my own eyes teachers wearing short shorts, tank tops and other unreasonable clothing. It is ridiculous that you are going to a school with children from the age 5-17 and you dress like them.
In the article Dress code for teachers, I 100% agree with them. Your clothing does truly give people an impression about the person. When I see teachers that dress like I do I automatically think they don't care about the way they dress and about their job. As a teen, if i have a sub and the sub dresses like me or worse than me, I might take advantage over them all because they are dressing like a teenager and not a professional or teacher. I want to have respect for them and not take advantage or anything of that nature but when you see someone that dresses like you or your friends, you are probably going to treat them like one and not as a qualified teacher you are.
Teachers need a dress code even though most of them dress respectable but every once and a while you get a teacher that you can mistake for as a student.
"...teachers are models for young men and women, and we have to set a good example." as it says in the article Dress Code. This statement is so true! Teachers really do set an example for us. So it wouldn't be ideal for a teacher to come to school and dress in beach clothing.
I really hope that at my school they make a teacher dress code, they need one.
Teachers Dress Code
I just read an article on teachers and there dress code. Today I'm going to be writing about if teachers should have a dress code. My opinion is that teachers should have a dress code. I have two main reasons why I think teachers should have a dress code.
The first reason why I think teacher should have a dress code is that I don't want walk on school campus and see a teacher wearing inappropriate clothing. They are professionals and they should know how to dress. That's the first reason why I think the teachers should have a dress code.
The second reason why teachers should have a dress code is that they should know how to dress at school in front of minors. They are the ones that got there degrees in teaching and I think they should know how to dress. I can barley think of stuff to write about this second reason. This is the second reason why teachers should have a dress code.
People may say that teachers should not have a dress code because they should know how to dress. I say that they should because what if you walk on campus and see a teacher wearing inappropriate clothing. Some people can say that the teachers are not dumb and they know how to dress in front of minors. In saying that just in case there should be a dress code.
This is my second blog post and I think I did pretty good. This is what I think about teachers having a dress code. I hope I get to write about more interesting things. I'll see you people later bye!

Dress Code: Its a double standard
Dress Code
Dress code is a very sensative subject, because it all depends on opinion. For me i believe it should be a double standard in schools. Meaning that if the teachers want to put on a leash so tight we can't breathe they should taste the medcine they feed us.
Now many teachers will use the I already had to sit through school card, as a cover up for the fact that they do not want to accept it should be a double standard. Its like telling your child not steal, but you constanly steal money out of your husband/wifes wallet in front of your child. So how do you expect your child not to steal when you make it a regular thing to do. I guess were back to that double standard rule again.
There are those well rounded teachers that say teachers should not only behave professionally, but dress the part too. I 200 % agree with those teachers, because how do you expect me to take you seriously while your teaching if you have on, flip flops, a tattered t-shirt and some busted sweat pants? Ok, I didn't think so yet teachers claim their students don't give them respect, even though they don't dress like they want respect.
As you can see like I said dress code is a very sensative subjet. It is all a matter of opinion and thet is my view on the situation. Remember double standard, the rules that apply for me apply to you to!

SORRY ABOUT THE LAST DRESSCODE POST THIS ONE IS REAL [:
Alright so my last post was actually my brother, one of our teachers former students... it's a long story of how he got to publish that and I'll tell you guys some other time because right now I'm gonna talk about DRESSCODE FOR TEACHERS! WHOOP WHOOP!!
So you know what I think?! I THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE DRESSCODE BECAUSE THEY DESERVE TO LOOK AS BAD AS US STUDENTS!!!!
Haha I'm just kidding. But seriously. It's like, COME ON. I just love how you could wear shorts that are longer than your fingertips but you can't have a hole in your jeans that show your knee. I mean, if you wear shorts it's still going to show more than just a knee. Because of that rule, I can't wear my favorite pair of jeans! They say dresscode is for your safety. I doubt any one is going to be like "DANG, you have a mighty fine knee
